We offer a self serve distribution to 200+ streaming platforms, make and place your CD's for you and publish them for sale as well as digital, professional mastering options, release guidance, playlist pitching, and promotion through our artist community and network. Marketing plans are custom and discussed during your appointment. We’re not a “set it and forget it” label — we work with you. As long as your a member you can use our name and logo on your music and websites.

Our deals are flexible — often project-based or single-release to start. We have no longterm contracts and your not committed. Our artists usually put out 1 album per year. We avoid locking artists into multi-year rigid contracts. Full details, including any options, are reviewed together so you know exactly what you’re agreeing to.

Royalties are competitive and transparent. Most artists use PayPal and we send your earnings out when your account hits $100 USD. Advances are considered case-by-case based on your catalog and traction for signed artists only. Use of this website does not mean you are signed. We believe in fair splits and clear accounting — everything is shared in writing before you sign.

Artists typically retain ownership of their masters with a licensing agreement for distribution. Reversion clauses are standard. This is explained clearly during contract review.

Yes — your sound, artwork, and vision stay yours. We collaborate as partners, not dictators. Creative control is important to us and written into every agreement.

When we commit to a project, we set a realistic release plan and timeline together. We never push for time. But, we do encurage a finished product to help you thrive in the music industry. We don’t make music just to sit on it.

We offer flexible options: administration-only or co-publishing depending on the project, worst case (usually 50/50 or better). Most artists here at WKRD Label keeps 90% to 100% We do not require full copyright assignment in most cases.

No strict quotas that feel like homework. We focus on quality and your natural release schedule. Expectations are agreed upon together.

Yes — when the music fits, our team actively looks for sync opportunities (TV, film, ads, games) and cover potential while handling worldwide royalty collection.

Advances are only given to Signed Artists Only.

You keep the majority share in our admin and co-pub deals. Payments are issued regularly with transparent reporting through our platform Payments of $100 USD will be sent when you reach that mark in your account.

You retain your writer’s share and a significant portion of publishing rights. Exact ownership is always spelled out in the agreement before signing. If WKRD Labels writes, produces, and creates 50% or more of a song we retain significant ownership. 99% of all artists on WKRD Labels keeps 100% owership.

Real, ongoing support. You’ll have direct access to guidance, mastering, promotion tools, and our artist community. Everyone signed or not gets the same support and treatment. The only difference is Signed Artists get more avenues and more gigs. We only work with serious musicians — you won’t be ignored.

Creating a free account on wkrdlabel.com is the first step. Once inside the community you can upload music, connect with the team, and book an appointment to discuss a potential release or publishing partnership.

All genres are welcome as long as the artist is serious and professional. We especially love rock, indie, alternative, hip-hop, electronic, and singer-songwriter music with strong songwriting and vision.

Basic community memberships are free. Optional premium services (advanced mastering, extra promotion, etc.) may have transparent one-time or monthly fees that are discussed upfront. We never hide costs.

We’re based in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania (near Altoona). Meetings are usually virtual via Google Meet from your Profile page or Zoom or in-person by appointment. Book time directly on the site.

Absolutely! The entire community platform is free forever. Many artists join first to network, get feedback, and build relationships before discussing any label or publishing deal.
